Young Parents’ Support offers early intervention and low-intensity services tailored for individuals experiencing low to moderate levels of diagnosed mental health issues or those at risk of developing perinatal mental illness.
Led by a skilled project coordinator with expertise in early years, health, or social care, our services are supported by a team of volunteer befrienders who have firsthand experience with parenthood and, in some cases, have benefitted from our services themselves.
We work with families from before the baby is born to at least one year after.
Led by a skilled project coordinator we bring together professionals from various agencies, including health services, social care, education, and community organisations, to provide comprehensive support to new vulnerable parents and their families.
We aim to help young parents identify what support and resources are available when mothers are suffering from mental health difficulties.
Connect Social Care will strive to empower young parents by equipping them with knowledge about the various support services, treatment options, and community resources accessible to them during such critical times.
By offering comprehensive information and guidance, we aim to ensure that young parents feel supported and empowered to navigate through these challenges with confidence and resilience.
Whether you have questions, feedback, or looking for advice, we're here to assist you every step of the way.
Please feel free to get in touch using the contact form or give us a call.
